Yoga  Training for  Cadets:

A  special  Yoga  training  session  was  conducted  in  our  college  on  27.07.2014.The cadets  were  given  yoga  training  for  relaxation  and  good  health. The  cadets  were  thought  basic  yoga  techniques.36  cadets   attended   this   training  and  learned  basic  yoga  training.

Independance  Day  Celebration

The   68th  Independence  day  celebration   was  celebrated  in  our  college  on  15.08.2014.The  Function  was  organized  and  conducted  by  National  Cadet  Corps.100  cadets   actively  took  part  in  this  celebration  and   drill demo  was  done  by  the  cadets  and  the  best  cadets  were  honored  in  this  function.

NCC  First  Year  Cadets   Inauguration

There   was   a   selection   for   the   new  enrollment   of  the   cadets   in  the   college   by  PI  staff   from  the  Battalion. The  cadets  were  selected  based  on  physical   and  medical  test  and  27  new  cadets  were  enrolled. Their   welcoming  ceremony  was  done  on  28.08.2014.

Combined  Annual  Training  Camp

The  Combined  Annular  Training  Camp   was   conducted  in    Holy  Cross  School, Salem  from  26.09.2014-05.10.2014. 40   cadets  attended  this  Combined  Annular  Training  Camp. The  Cadets   were  given  training  in  drill, weapon handling, firing, obstacle  and   musketry.

NCC  Day  Celebration

The  67th NCC  Day  was   celebrated  on  21.11.2014   in  the  college  .100  cadets  attended  this  function  and  speech  about   NCC  was  given  by  the  cadets. Competitions  in   drawing  ,essay    and  science  exhibition  models   were  given  to  the  cadets  for  NCC  Day  celebration. The  winners  of  the  competitions   were  given  prizes.

Republic  Day  Celebration

The  66th Republic  Day  Celebrations  was  celebrated  in  our  college  on  26.01.2015. The function  was  conducted  and  organized  by  National  Cadet  Corps .52  cadets  attended  this  function. Drill  demo  was  done  by  the  cadets.

 

WEAPON   TRAINING:

Weapon   Training   was  given  to  the  Cadets  to  get  well  trained  for  B  and  C  certificate  exams  on 6.02.2015.The  Army  people  taught   assembling  and  dis –assembling   and  weapon  drill    to  the  cadets. 36  cadets  from  our college  and   50 cadets  from  other colleges  attended  this  training  and  all  cadets  were  trained  well  during  this  training  period.

B  Certificate Exam

The  B  certificate  exam  was  conducted  in Sowdeshwari  college,  Salem  from 21.02.2014 to 22.02.2014.The   B  certificate  exam  was  attended  by  the  second  year  cadets  .A  total  of  27-cadets   appeared  for  the  B  certificate  exam  and  All  passed in  the  exam.

C  Certificate Exam

The  C   Certificate  exam  was  conducted  in  Sowdeshwari  college  Salem  on  4.03.2015.  11 cadets   appeared for  the  exam and  all 33 cadets  passed  the  C  certificate  Exam.

Apart  from  these  events  40  parades  were  conducted  throughout  the  year  and  the  cadets  were   given   training  from  the  PI  staff   from  the  Battalion. Refreshments were   given  to  the  cadets  after  every  parade  session.
